Senior InfoSec Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled senior security engineer to lead the design, implementation, and execution of our organization’s cybersecurity infrastructure. In this critical role, you will be responsible for protecting enterprise systems and data from internal and external threats, ensuring compliance with security best practices, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance the organization’s overall security posture.
As a senior member of the security team, you will collaborate closely with other teams to proactively identify vulnerabilities, manage incident response efforts, and deploy advanced security solutions. Your expertise will help shape our cybersecurity strategy and mentor junior team members.
Responsibilities Include:
- Manage advanced security systems, including firewalls, endpoint protection, SIEM, CSPM, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS)
- Managing unique software baselines in direct support of all job functions
- Full responsibility for all Identity Management components
- Primary executor of external audit events, including SOC2 and PCI
- Lead threat detection, incident response, and forensic investigations for security events and breaches
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, coordinate remediation efforts across teams
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices
- Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory requirements; recommend and implement appropriate countermeasures
- Guide and mentor junior security personnel and provide training across departments to promote security awareness.
- Monitoring dashboards to track issues
- Working with Quavo employees to remediate any issues that are found
- Work with other Quavo employees to help with PM Tools (Azure/Confluence/Jira)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office proficiency (5-8 years)
- Office365 administration (5-8 years)
- Linux experience (5-8 years)
- Windows experience (5-8 years)
- Azure/AWS/other CSP experience (5-8 years)
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or related technical role
- Strong hands-on experience with security tools and technologies
- Atlassian suite proficiency
- Ability to balance multiple tasks at once
- Able to work independently
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business associates
