Tell us your story! How did you join the Quavo Team?

Before working at Quavo, I worked at Bank of America, where I was introduced to quite a few of the people I still work alongside today. I transitioned to Quavo back in early 2017, and right off the bat was assigned to work as a contractor for the U.S. Census Bureau. That was a very exciting time. As we continued to grow, I took on implementing Quavo’s flagship product, QFD®, for one of our first clients, built features and services for numerous clients, did contracting work for DLL, and much more. Eventually, I landed where I am today on the QFD® Foundation Team.

Tell us what is important to you about the Quavo culture.

The most important thing about the Quavo culture to me is the general work hard, play hard spirit. Everybody is here to get the job done well and lend a hand wherever needed. The people that work here are some of the most talented I’ve ever met. I don’t think there has ever been a time that I couldn’t get the help I needed, and I’m always happy to return the favor when others need help from me. It’s obvious how much we care about each other and our clients, and while many of us may not see each other for months at a time, when we can get together, it’s like seeing long-lost friends.

Tell us what you do! What is meaningful to you about your role and position at Quavo?

I primarily work on building QFD®, and I love it. There is always something new to learn about this application since it’s constantly evolving. One of my favorite things about getting to develop QFD® is knowing the impact that changes I make have on our clients. Being able to automate solutions and seeing manual work volume drop is an awesome feeling, and it’s made even better when we hear how grateful clients are for simplifying their lives.

Look into the future! Where do you see yourself in the industry?

As I continue to grow with Quavo, I aim to broaden my abilities as a developer and be there to help guide and direct teams as they inevitably expand. There are so many exciting projects in the pipeline that I’d like to be involved in. For the time being, I’d like to get my Pega LSA certification.

The important details! Where do you reside?

I am a born and raised Delawarean. I live in Wilmington, DE, with my wife, Sydney, and our German Shepherd, Aston. Most of our friends and family are near us, so if we’re not at home, we’re usually out spending time with them.

Outside of work, I do a little bit of everything. I’m a builder and fixer by nature, so some of my favorite things are taking on home remodeling projects, fixing cars, 3D modeling and printing, and gardening. I also enjoy snowboarding, hiking, and working out; I have even gotten into kayaking recently.
