Devon Anderson, Sales & Marketing Intern

Tell us a bit about your role within Quavo.

I work as a Sales and Marketing Intern under the Client Operations, Brand, and Community Team. Throughout my nine months spent at Quavo, I have worked on lead generation, content creation, and I even trained in the Dispute Resolution Program.

What is your favorite project you have worked on during the span of your internship?

My favorite project I have worked on so far would be an article that I wrote a few months ago surrounding why financial institutions might fall out of compliance. I love knowing that I contributed to our knowledge base.

What is the most critical lesson learned from your time as an intern?

Adaptability. Working in a growing company that embraces an agile philosophy can feel overwhelming at times. Learning how to adapt and time manage in a professional setting has been an invaluable skill.

What is something you value about Quavo as a company?

I believe that this organization is positioning itself to be a true industry leader. Our work environment is a product of that; even though I work remotely, I feel connected to everyone on my team. I value how welcoming and encouraging everyone in the company is.

What are your future goals?

I recently accepted a full-time role as a Client Development Associate here at Quavo upon my graduation from Michigan State University. I hope to contribute to our organization’s success and become a true industry expert. I am excited to continue to be a part of such a talented and hard-working group. I appreciate their constant support and being pushed outside of my comfort zone so that I can grow in my position.

Outside of work, what do you do in your free time?

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, boating, and spending time with my friends.
