Sales and Marketing Specialist – Lead Generation

The lead generation specialist will provide support to the Sales organization and work directly with the inside sales team to identify and target qualified leads for our products and services to increase customer engagement, elevate brand positioning, and drive market share. This role will execute comprehensive marketing campaigns including email and direct marketing in addition to lead nurturing tactics to build a consistent pipeline of highly qualified leads. The specialist role is an intricate addition to our growing salesforce and this individual contributor role will develop into a mentor and team lead for the inside sales team.

Location: Virtual office with a preference near our office sites; East Lansing, MI and Phoenix, AZ

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Development: Build and manage lead nurturing programs to accelerate prospect movement through the sales cycle. Responsible for identifying, sourcing, and maintaining a steady flow of companies, individuals, and contact information within the Financial Services Industry.
  • Creative Campaign Development: Execute an integrated mix of digital and lead-nurturing content marketing campaigns for lead generation, including emails, landing pages, calls-to-action, and content.
  • Campaign Strategy Development: Contribute creative campaign strategies, objectives, and goals to develop a foundation for continuous improvement.
  • Process Management: Help define best practices, standards, reporting, and processes to drive successful campaigns for new leads and current client upsell opportunities.
  • Product Marketing: Build creative product marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and distinguish Quavo products from competitors.
  • Sales and Marketing Automation: Ensure optimization of sales and marketing automation best practices to attract, guide, and manage qualified leads through the sales cycle.
  • Product Campaign Calendar and Matrix: Maintain calendar of all demand generation campaigns/programs, tactics, and metrics to optimize awareness and lead generation efforts.
  • Targeting/Segmentation Marketing: Segment target audiences based on MQL/SQL segment strategies, personas, product messaging strategy, and demographic criteria and completed MQL interactions (i.e. content downloads, calls, page views, etc).

Required Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications-related field of study or equivalent industry experience with proven success track record.
  • 3-5 years of in-depth knowledge and experience leading lead-generation and direct response campaign strategy and execution; including email, lead nurturing, and marketing automation.
  • 3-5 years of expertise utilizing tools and sources such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Google, and Industry or other forms of media sources.
  • 1+ years of experience using Zoho CRM or similar CRM tool(s).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem-solve, and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to collaborate and build rapport with the management and sales teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 3+ minimum years in a lead generation role in a Fintech company.
  • Experience generating leads and managing product campaigns targeted towards Banks and Credit Unions.
  • Extensive experience using Zoominfo to increase sales and marketing productivity.
