Quavo is hiring for a Technical Writer. The Technical Writer will work closely with product development and client experience teams to translate technical requirements and information into release documentation and reference materials that are easily consumed by our users and our internal teams and contribute to our products’ overall success.  This is a fast-paced environment and will require excellent organization and time-management skills.  The Technical Writer will interface with teammates throughout the organization to collect and assimilate information and will own and maintain all product-related documentation across various tools and mediums.


  • Manage the entire content lifecycle from planning to sunset.
  • Assist with the refinement and polishing of users’ stories and release notes.
  • Gather and analyze product change data to ensure that all changes that impact application behavior or user experience are well-documented in the user knowledge base.
  • Create internal playbooks and technical documentation to support continuity and repeatability in our business processes.
  • Collaborate closely with client-facing staff to understand client needs and behavior and create content that is easily consumed.
  • Partner with the marketing team to deliver product offering communications.
  • Edit content that is contributed by technical staff for accuracy, grammar, and adherence to our company style.
  • Learn complex concepts and translate them into information that is engaging and easy to understand.



  • Degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven ability to write high-quality documentation.
  • Deep familiarity with the MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Have an adaptable and agile approach and be able to manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with the agile scrum software development methodology and its rituals and processes.
  • Must be a highly-motivated self-starter that can think and operate independently.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years technical writing experience.
  • Experience with web design basics, including HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Fintech experience
  • Banking experience
